Note:
  • By following the correct installation method, you can eliminate the "Unknown Part" or "Important Display Message" messages.
  • iOS 15 and later versions: this method no longer works, even if the firmware is reset or reinitialized. In this case, replacing the original EEPROM on the new display is necessary.
  • The information below is useful for ensuring the correct restoration of the True Tone function:
  • True Tone restoration is possible with the help of programmers: DL R100 / R100P / R200, REFOX RP30, or JCID V1SE.
  • It is essential that the data from the original screen be saved in the programmer before replacing the chip. Otherwise, the True Tone function may fail.
